Academic work in audio signal processing, perception and soundscape evaluation

PhD Research

I completed my PhD at the University of York, studying the relationships between physiological responses, self-report measures and binaural rendering quality in the context of lab-based soundscape evaluation.

My main research interests are in audio signal processing, spatial audio, and the human perception of sound. This spans from low-level DSP algorithm design through to psychoacoustics and soundscape research.
